TURTLE CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 lb. pkg. Kraft caramels
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine cake mix, water, butter, oil, eggs and 1/2 of milk. Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. While that's baking, melt caramels with remaining milk and pecans. Spread caramel mixture over partially baked cake. Pour remaining cake batter over caramel mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Frost with favorite frosting.
