MAMMY'S SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 2/3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour, sifted with 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. lemon flavoring or 2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, 1 at a time; mix well then mix in the flour alternately with the sour cream. Bake in a greased tube pan, cover with waxed paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or 1 hour 10 minutes.
