CHERRY COCONUT BARS 
PASTRY:

1 c. sifted flour
3 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter

With hands, mix flour, butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread thin in 10-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FILLING:

2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut

Stir all ingredients into eggs. Spread over baked pastry. Bake 25 minutes. Cool, cut into bars. About 20 bars.
