2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cut into 1 inch squares while hot and remove from the pan while still warm.
