CREAMY PUMPKIN SOUP 
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin (or 2 cups pureed fresh pumpkin)
2 cups light cream
1 (15 oz.) can chicken broth
2 or 3 leeks (your choice - I use an onion)
5 large potatoes, cubed
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 tsp. salt (or less)
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cinnamon

In large pot add chicken broth, leeks, potatoes, baking soda, salt, pepper and cinnamon. Simmer uncovered for fifteen minutes until potatoes are soft. Add pumpkin and light cream. Simmer 10 minutes.

Serve with bacon bits on top and some real good bread. Enjoy!
