ITALIAN FRUIT SALAD 
2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 (8 oz.) box Soupette macaroni
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 lg. container Cool Whip

Drain juice from oranges and pineapple and keep. Cook macaroni 15 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water. Put into a pan the juice from oranges and pineapple, sugar, eggs, flour, cornstarch, salt and lemon juice. Mix together with electric mixer and cook until it comes to a boil and is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and pour over macaroni. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Next day, add fruit and Cool Whip.
