CHEESE BISCUIT STICKS 
1 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter, cut into chunks
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. milk

Mix both flours, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix in butter until the texture of coarse cornmeal. Stir in cheese. Add milk and stir with fork until evenly moistened. Scrape dough onto lightly floured board and knead, 8-10 turns.

Form into a ball and set on a greased baking sheet. Press into an 8 inch round. Cut round into 1 inch wide strips. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm, cutting sticks apart at lines.
