CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
4 lg. sweet potatoes
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. water
Sprinkling of salt

Place sugar, butter and water in skillet and bring to boil. Peel raw sweet potatoes; cut in half and place in skillet. Salt lightly. Cook until soft and syrup begins to thicken. Cook approximately 20-30 minutes.
