CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
2 lb. sweet potatoes
1 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Wash and peel sweet potatoes. Cut in slices approximately 1 inch thick. Cook in salted water until tender. Drain well.

Melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Add sweet potatoes. Heat on slow burner, turning potatoes until all are hot and covered with sugar mixture.
