2 c. flour 2 sticks butter 1 egg yolk 3/4 c. sour cream FILLING: 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. chopped nuts Sugar Mix butter into flour as for pie crust. Add sour cream and egg yolk, mixing well. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight. Prepare filling. Roll out dough as for pie crust, and spread 1/4 of sugar/nut mixture on top of each circle. (HINT: Go over nut mixture lightly with rolling pin to help filling stick to dough.) Cut into pie shaped wedges and roll up, starting with large end. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle lightly with sugar after removing from oven. |
