APPLESAUCE TURNOVERS 
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 sugar substitute
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. applesauce
6 sugar substitutes
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender.

Gradually add milk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Roll pastry to 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4 inch square or circle. Combine applesauce 6 sugar substitutes and cinnamon in a small mixing bowl. Place a heaping teaspoon of applesauce mixture in center of each pastry moist edges with water. Fold pastry in half. Press pastry edges firmly together with a fork dipped in flour. Place in greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Yields 30 turnovers.
