APPLE TURNOVER 
3 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 c. Crisco
5-6 tbsp. water
1 can apple pie filling
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine first 4 ingredients. Cut in Crisco. Sprinkle dough with water, enough to make a ball. Divide. Roll out on lightly floured board, 5" squares will make 12. Put 2 tablespoons of apple in each square. Form triangle, seal edges with fork. Prick top with fork for steam to escape. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool slightly. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar over each one.
