TWO CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE CAKE | |
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 3 eggs 2 tbsp. flour FILLING: 1/3 c. sugar 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts 1/4 c. sugar GLAZE: 1/2 c. ready to spread fudge frosting (or your own recipe) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom only of 9 x 13 inch pan. In large bowl combine all cake ingredients at low speed and beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan. In small bowl, beat first 4 ingredients of filling until fluffy. Stir in chips and nuts and spoon tablespoonfuls of filling over cake batter. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. If using ready to spread frosting, heat over low heat to drizzle over baked cake. If using own recipe, have mixture to a drizzle consistency. Store in refrigerator. |
