BROWNIE MOUND COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. light Karo syrup
2 eggs
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter and sugar. Add syrup and eggs. Mix until creamy. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift flour with salt and baking powder and add. Mix well. Stir in chopped nuts. Drop by tablespoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
