6 slices bread, cubed 1 box frozen spinach, thawed and drained 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 8 eggs 1 3/4 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp. pepper Grated Parmesan The night before, layer cubed bread, spinach and cheese in a buttered baking dish, about 7x12 inches. Beat eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg and pepper and pour over ingredients in baking dish. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 6-8. |
