NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 lb. or 1 c. lard
1/2 c. cold water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Beat the egg into the cold water and vinegar. Combine lard, flour, and salt; then add liquid, divide dough and roll out pie crust.
