2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. hot mashed potatoes

Mix all together and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 lb. confectioners' sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 lb. butter
2 tbsp. coffee

Mix all together and spread on top.
