DIVINITY CANDY 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Combine sugar and corn syrup. Cook until it will spin a thread and then pour 1/2 into whites of 2 eggs. Cook the other half until it will harden in water; then pour over other mixture. Beat until creamy. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
