1 1/4 c. cake flour
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine 1 1/4 cup cake flour and 1 cup brown sugar. Beat 1 1/2 cup egg whites and 1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar until foamy. Keep beating and add 1 cup brown sugar, beating until it forms peaks. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Fold in flour mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes in tube pan.
