GREEN SALAD WITH CROUTONS 
1 med. head garden lettuce
1 med. head romaine lettuce or endive
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

SALAD DRESSING:

1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. crumbled dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Croutons - see recipe above

Combine dressing ingredients in bottle. Shake well. Allow to stand at room temperature.

Clean lettuce; pat dry. Tear into bite size pieces. Refrigerate until serving time.

To serve; sprinkle salad with cheese and croutons. Shake dressing well; pour over salad to coat. Toss well. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
