Homemade Peaches 'n Cream Ice Cream
 #40406
 Tom Jones (Texas) says:
I made this exact recipe and it was DELISH! My freezer is a bit slower than some so some of the cream churned into bits of butter. The sweetness was spot on, and the subtle taste of almond was the perfect counter to the sweet peaches. I used fresh peaches, first plunging them into boiling water to loosen their skins, then cutting all the fruit from the seed, finally running it all through the food processor until a smooth puree. Then, I mixed with the sugar and lemon juice and brought the fruit to a boil. After reducing heat and simmering for about 15 minutes, I cooled the fruit mixture in the fridge. Finally, I mixed in my dairy and put it into the freezer. It came out perfect! Try this recipe!
