MEATBALL APPETIZERS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. ground pork 1 sm. onion, finely minced 1 c. milk 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 c. dry bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. allspice 1. Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend well. Form into small balls; about 1 inch in diameter. 2. Arrange half of meatballs in a single layer in an oblong baking dish. 3. Cook, uncovered, on bake for 4 minutes in microwave. 4. Place in a chafing dish to keep hot. 5. Cook remaining meatballs, simmering about 30 minutes. 6. Serve hot with toothpicks and favorite dunking sauce, if desired. |
