MEATBALL APPETIZERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 sm. onion, finely minced
1 c. milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. allspice

1. Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend well. Form into small balls; about 1 inch in diameter.

2. Arrange half of meatballs in a single layer in an oblong baking dish.

3. Cook, uncovered, on bake for 4 minutes in microwave.

4. Place in a chafing dish to keep hot.

5. Cook remaining meatballs, simmering about 30 minutes.

6. Serve hot with toothpicks and favorite dunking sauce, if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
