CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT PIE 
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. white corn syrup
2/3 c. walnut pieces (lg.)
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl beat eggs slightly with a fork; add salt, vanilla, sugar, corn syrup, beating until just well blended. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell and bake for 45 minutes or until top is evenly puffed up and starts to crack. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream and walnut half. Serves 8.
