CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT PIE 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1 (9") unbaked pie shell
2/3 c. walnut halves (opt.)
Whipped cream (opt.)

Beat eggs, salt, vanilla, sugar and corn syrup until well blended. Stir in chocolate pieces. Pour mixture into pie crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until top is evenly puffed and starts to crack. Remove from oven and chill for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with whipped cream and walnuts, if desired. Serves 6. Can be frozen and thawed before serving.
