I've been making these cookies since the '80s. They won first place in a Ladies Home Journal cookie challenge. They were my son's favorites at Christmas time among the many cookies I made and he did not like coconut or nuts. They are an easy cookie with delicious taste. I highly recommmend them.

I have been making these since they came out in a Ladies Home Journal Cookie Contest. They were one of my son's favorites. He hated coconut and nuts but you don't notice that either is in this cookie. It is absolutely one of the best cookies I make. Everyone loves them.

These are the BEST cookies ever! I don't like almonds so I don't use them. Still get major feedback from friends who try them and always ask for the recipe. Easy to make. Yummy!

Best cookie ever! Love them anytime I freeze the rolls that have been wrapped in wax paper then foil to be sure they are protected, then when you want a fresh batch, take them out about 15 minutes before baking letting them thaw a bit then cut and bake. I always have them on hand. You have to try them!

My family does not like sesame seeds, so I substitute chopped pecans. They are a family favorite!
