MERINGUE KISSES 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla. Beat until stiff. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto brown paper covered cookie sheet or Teflon cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
