APPLE-OAT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. quick cooking old fashioned oats, uncooked
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. salad oil
3 egg whites
3 med. size unpeeled green apples, diced

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan with vegetable spray.

2. In large bowl mix oats and next 4 ingredients. In small bowl beat honey, milk, oil and egg whites until blended, stir into flour mixture just until flour is moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Fold in apples.

3. Spoon into loaf pan. Bake 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. It's very low in calories, saturated fat and cholesterol.
