ROLLED OATS BREAD 
2 c. rolled oats
3 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses

Mix oats, water and shortening; let stand 15 minutes. Add sugar and molasses. Mix 1/4 cup water (warm) with two yeast cakes and 1 teaspoon sugar. Add to above mixture. Add 5 cups of flour. Knead 10 minutes. Let rise to double size. This makes good rolls, too. Bake about 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
