ROLLED OAT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
4 c. flour
2 pkgs. yeast
2 tsp. salt
2 c. rolled oats

Add yeast and sugar to the warm water. Let stand until foamy, then add to dry ingredients. Mix and adjust flour or water until stiff. Let raise about double in size. Make loaves; let raise. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
