BLUEBERRY APPLE DEEP DISH
2/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. cooking apples, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. blueberries
1 stick butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. flour

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat together 1 stick butter and 3 oz. cream cheese. Add in flour slowly to form a dough that holds together. Chill dough until firm.

Toss together 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoon of flour with the apple slices. Spread in a buttered oblong baking dish, approximately 6x10 inches. Toss remaining sugar and flour with the blueberries and scatter over apples. Dot with butter.

Roll out pastry into a square to fit over pan. Cut four 1-inch slits in top. Brush pastry with milk. Bake for 30 minutes. May be doubled using a 9x13 inch pan.
