LOUIE WELCH'S CHICKEN & RICE 
1 c. reg. rice
1 fryer, cut up
1 can onion soup
1 can water
Salt & pepper to taste

Pour rice into long shallow baking dish. Salt and pepper chicken and place on top of rice. Pour soup and water over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees until chicken is tender (45 minutes to 1 hour). Remove foil and brown as desired.
