DEE MC C.'S EGG/SAUSAGE
CASSEROLE
 
8 slices white bread, cubed, crust removed
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 lbs. bulk sausage, browned & drained (I use Bob Evans mild; 2 - 1 lb. pkgs.)
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk

Place bread cubes in greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle cheese over bread cubes. Add browned and drained sausage. Blend eggs, milk and mustard. Pour over ingredients in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from refrigerator. Blend 1 can cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over all. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Best if you let it sit a few minutes before serving so that it has a chance to set up.
