CHICKEN PAPRIKASH 
1 (3-4 lb.) chicken (or equal chicken breasts)
1/4 c. chicken fat or melted butter
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 c. water (I use chicken broth)
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 tbsp. flour

Brown chicken pieces in melted fat. Remove from skillet and set aside. Add onion and cook until tender. Add seasonings. Return chicken to skillet. Add water or broth. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until tender.

Blend flour and a little water. Add sour cream and blend well. Stir a little of the hot broth into sour cream then return to skillet; blend. Serve with dumplings. Do not cook after sour cream is added. It will curdle.
