3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. natural instant malted milk 4 c. chocolate ice cream In 5 cup blender combine milk and instant malted milk. Blend at medium speed, stopping blender frequently to scrape sides, until instant malted milk is dissolved (30 to 40 seconds). Add ice cream, continue blending, stopping blender frequently to scrape sides, until smooth (30 to 40 seconds). Serve immediately. Makes 4 3/4 cups. VARIATIONS: CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY: Prepare as directed. By hand, stir in 1 cup sweetened raspberries. CHOCOLATE MINT COOKIE MALT: Prepare as directed. Blend in 12 crushed chocolate mint sandwich cookies. PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE MALT: Prepare as directed. Blend in 1 cup peanut butter. CHOCOLATE ALMOND MALT: Prepare as directed. Blend in 1 teaspoon almond extract. By hand, stir in 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. |
