14 LAYER CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
6 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together. Put 4 tablespoons to each pan. Cook long enough to get the layer dry but not brown.

ICING:

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
12 oz. evaporated milk
6 tbsp. cocoa

Put on stove and bring to a rolling boil. Take off and spread on cake (it will be thin).
