MEAT LOAF FOR FIFTY 
3 lb. ground veal
3 lb. ground pork
6 lb. ground chuck
2 med. onions, chopped
3 c. grated raw carrots
3 tbsp. salt
1 to 8 tsp. pepper
6 eggs
6 c. bread crumbs
3 c. evaporated milk
Slices of bacon

Mix meats thoroughly. Add onions and carrots; mix again. Add seasonings, eggs, crumbs and milk. Shape into loaves and place in baking pans and lay the bacon over the top. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes; then reduce to 350 degrees and bake an hour longer.
