DATE ROLLS 
1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. chopped dates (1/2 lb.)
2 eggs

Beat eggs slightly in large skillet. Stir in rest of ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly over low heat for 7 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add: 1 c. chopped pecans

Mix well. Shape into little balls and roll in coconut. (Makes 4 dozen.)
