MONKEY CAKE 
2 c. sugar
4 (8 oz.) pkg. biscuits (not buttermilk)
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 tsp. cinnamon
Raisins (optional)
Nuts (optional)
Tube pan (solid bottom)

Take 1 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and put into mixing bowl with seal. Put other cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and butter on stove to boil. Keep warm while making cake. Take 2 cans of biscuits and quarter them. Put in mixing bowl with sugar and cinnamon; shake until coated. Place in tube pan, pour half of syrupy mixture over them; add raisins and nuts if desired now. Repeat with other 2 cans of biscuits, and syrupy mixture; add more raisins and nuts if desired. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Take cake right out of pan and place on a plate. Hold over sink when you do this.
