BEEF STROGANOFF 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. onion
1 1/2 lbs. cubed sirloin steak
1/4 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. sherry
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. flour

Cook onion in butter. Add cubed steak and garlic - brown meat to desired rareness. Stir in all ingredients, but sour cream and flour. Cook for 5 minutes. Add flour gradually to thick and follow with sour cream - cook 2 minutes. Serve over wide noodles.
