JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
6 sliced apples
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. Crisco oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon together and set aside. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Apples last layer. Layer apples then cake mixture, ending with apples on top.
