BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
3 lb. spare ribs
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 bottle catsup
6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. soy sauce

Cut spare ribs into serving pieces. Place in a deep kettle. Cover with water and simmer 30 minutes. While ribs are cooking, make sauce. Saute onion and green pepper in a small amount of oil until tender but not brown.

Combine with remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes. Drain spare ribs; place in a shallow baking dish. Pour sauce over spare ribs. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until ribs are tender and brown.
