HAMBURGER CHOWDER 
2 to 3 lb. ground beef
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
2 to 3 lg. onions, chopped
4 to 5 carrots, chopped
1/2 stalk celery with greens chopped
2 tbsp. parsley
2 envelopes of onion soup

Brown ground beef, add water to the amount of broth desired. Add all ingredients and simmer for 3 to 4 hours.

Cook 2 1/2 cups of rice. Don't add rice to soup it will get too thick. Pour soup over rice.
