BAKED HAMBURGER VEGETABLE
CHOWDER
 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 onions, chopped
1/4 c. rice
1 c. diced canned or fresh tomatoes
1/4 c. diced celery
2 diced carrots
3 sm. potatoes, peeled & diced
Salt
Pepper
4 c. water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown and separate meat. Add remaining ingredients and spoon mixture into a 3 quart casserole. Cover. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until rice and vegetables are tender. Serve hot in bowls.
