SUGAR FREE - TASTES LIKE APPLE
BUTTER
 
2 c. pitted prunes
2 c. apple juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Simmer the prunes, apple juice and cinnamon in a medium size saucepan. Stir occasionally. Cook until prunes are very tender and most of the juice is gone (about 30 minutes). Remove from heat and cool slightly. Puree in blender until smooth. Transfer into glass jars and refrigerate. Yield: about 2 1/2 cups.
