CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE | |
1 box fudge cake mix (without pudding) 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. almond extract Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl; stir until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Spread with frosting. CHOCOLATE FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. milk 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil 2 minutes and add chocolate chips. Frost cake while still warm. |
