1 box fudge cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. oil or melted butter
1/4 c. milk
1 can cherry pie filling

In large bowl beat eggs, add other ingredients, except pie filling. After thoroughly mixed, add pie filling and fold through batter. Bake in rectangular cake pan or in cupcakes, according to baking instructions on cake box.

While cake is warm, pour topping over cake.

Topping:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate bits
4 to 5 lg. marshmallows, cut in bits or several miniature marshmallows (optional)

Bring sugar, butter and milk to boil. Boil for 1 minute. Add chocolate bits and marshmallows and stir until all are melted. Pour over cake.
