CASSEROLE CREOLA CHICKEN WITH RICE | |
3 lb. chicken 1 lb. butter 2 bell pepper 3 onion 2 tomatoes 16 oz. mushroom 1 tsp. white pepper 1 1/2 c. rice 8 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt First you boil your rice off. Very perfect, but don't over cook it. Then put your rice aside until later on. Second bake your chicken in the oven temperature 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes. After the chicken is cooked, put it aside until you get the sauce ready. Cooking the sauce ingredients: melt the butter in a skillet, add chopped bell pepper, sliced onion, sliced tomatoes, chopped mushrooms, and white pepper. Let it saute for 10-15 minutes. When it is simmered enough, take it off the stove; put aside. Now get ready to butter the bottom of the casserole dish. After buttered, place your rice in the bottom of the casserole dish, next you chicken on top of the rice, and now add your sauteed ingredients; pour it over the chicken and rice. Cover your casserole dish; put it back in the oven for about 10 minutes more. After the time or 10 minutes is up, take it out of the oven. Now you have a perfect dinner, meat for your family, taste it. |
