1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. milk 1 egg 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Sliced bread If bread is very dry, dip in cold milk very quickly, lay on strainer then dip in batter. Fry in butter on grill, drain on paper. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. 4 tbsp. sugar and one of cinnamon. Batter: Sift flour, salt and baking powder into bowl. Add milk and well beaten egg; beat well and dip bread into it. |
