GRANDMOTHER SPENCER'S OLD
ORIGINAL FRENCH TOAST
 
Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, and 1 egg. Slice leftover biscuits into 3 slices if they are large; dip biscuits in mixture and fry in butter (about 1 stick), then you place them on a dish.

Next, pour the remaining batter into the remaining butter in the fry pan and cook slightly to thicken and pour over the French toast.
