BAKED STUFFED APPLES 
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. brown sugar
4 lg. baking apples
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Peel off 1/3 of the skin at the top of each apple core. Stuff each apple with equal amounts of raisin mixture. Dot each with 1/4 teaspoon butter. Arrange in 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Pour water around apples. Bake 45 minutes until tender, not mushy, basting occasionally. Serve.
